Norrøna's lightest waterproof 3 layer shell jacket for ski/snowboard.
This shell jacket is made for ski touring but works excellent for alpine activities ranging from trekking to lightweight mountaineering.
We use GORE-TEX® fabric because it’s the world-leading quality for durable waterproofness (28,000mm), optimized breathability (RET Less than 13), and total windproofness.
The main material is a 3-layer 30D woven ePE GORE-TEX® fabric C-knit with a 100% recycled nylon face and backer, 85gm2. The second material is a 3-layer 30D rip-stop ePE GORE-TEX® C-knit 100% recycled nylon face and backer, 101gm2.
Key features include: A helmet-compatible storm hood with one-hand adjustment, asymmetric cuffs with velcro adjustment, chest ventilation with YKK water-resistant zipper and mesh, 2 chest pockets YKK water-resistant zipper, 1 internal pocket, laminated stretch woven hand gaiter. The jacket has a technical fit with articulated arms, perfect for alpine movement. It's slightly longer in the back for extra protection.
